- Terminal #1 - The white wire is positive
- Terminal #2 - The black wire is negative
I have found that using a 12 Volt DC power supply is insufficient to be sure of serial communications. Thus I use laptop power supplies that I buy on ebay. They can be had for about 10 dollars total including shipping and put out about 19 volts.
