Operate your kiln or industrial oven with an easy to use computer interface. Ramp and soak temperature profiles are easy using the SKC software. This kit allows you to control temperature without the hassles of hard to use and remember 4 button interfaces of plain old temperature controllers. I am always available for email consultations if you need any help when installing your kit and do phone support when needed so no one gets left behind.
The full digital kiln conversion kit includes the following list of items fully wired and ready to be inserted into your power line.
- Used tested working Temperature controller - Omron E5AX The E5AX controller in this kit works with all the common thermocouple types and RTD's of the DIN and JIS type.
- USB to rs-422 converter. ( rs-232 to rs-422 converter with serial port extension cable ( 9 pin D connectors M to F ) available if needed )
- PC software - on CD
- Solid State Relay (SSR) - electronic switch details : The switch is an electronic one so you don't have to worry about contacts wearing out or switching noise. It handles up to 40 amps at 120 or 240 VAC. Inquire if you need a higher current switch or have doubts about how much electrical current your kiln draws. I can help you estimate it. )
- K type thermocouple sensor allowing the controller to work from -330 to +2300 degrees Fahrenheit

SKC Software allows you to easily generate temperature profiles, store and run them. Profiles are stored with English language file names and thus it is easy to recall what any given profile is intended for. Software automatically logs temperature readings in a user specified file that also has an English language name. Watch the video below for an introduction to creating a new temperature profile.
Software allows for email and/or text page alerts to your cell phone. Interfaces to your PC serial port using RS-422.

SKC software runs on Win 98, Win XP and Vista allowing for cheap dedicated systems. Comes with softcopy of manuals on CD.

Many of the photos here show fully packaged setups done by a users of this system. It is intended to show what sort of results are possible with minimal effort. You should NOT infer the laptop, kiln or box they put the controller kit in are part of this listing.
Attention OEM manufacturers
The software is available separately for other communications capable controllers. A driver can rapidly be written for your temperature controllers.
